  • Next Generation Focus was founded by Amy and John Sol.
2008        
  • 20 volunteers recruited to give 400 hours of service tutoring 220 students in Forsyth County;
  • Community partnership with Shiloh Point Elementary School.
2009        
  • 10 teachers and 20 others recruited to give 800 hours of service;
  • SmarterMe® Program was established to address gaps in academic proficiencies of students;
  • 32 students in Forsyth County enrolled in SmarterMe®:
    • Students with grade level proficiency in reading improved from 0% to 80%;
  • Community partnership with Forsyth Family Center.
2010        
  • 3 teachers and 50 others recruited to give 2,700 hours of service;
  • SmarterMe® Program offered tutoring in reading, math and music;
  • 74 students in Forsyth County enrolled in SmarterMe®:
    • Students with grade level proficiency in reading improved from 0% to 90%
